Pre-game is a little different than FCS. A lot more eyes on this league. NDSU is right in there with all the others with kind of a home town favorite vibe around the Bison.

Turned out cbs sports wasn’t on my Disney subscription. I ended up with the YouTube sports pack giving me espn, fox1 & CBSSports.

The Bison are a clear favorite but from what I’ve seen a lot of prognosticators don’t think they will cover but win a tight game.

These guys take a more realistic view of the first game. It’s not FCS. Players are a little better. They feel it’s all about the running game. Bison will win, can’t cover and it goes over 46.5

SJSU trails by 21. Few min to half. Need them to buck up or do some scoring if they plan to keep USC from covering 38.5

From a lot of questions to the reality of the game it’s all Bison. An 8 play 80 yd drive to open then 3 and out. Bison have the ball 7-0. Business as usual in Fargo.

SJSU rushing D looks weak. They 42-18, 5 min left. Might win spread but USC will probably score again.

Oh no. D collapses giving up a quick 56 yd drive. Seemed susceptible to letting them break it outside. It’s back and forth now, giving as good as they are getting.

It’s hard fought 10-7 Bison. Bison have 146 yds well balanced. The gamecocks are relying on the run with 56 of their total 76 coming on the ground. It’s a physical battle, from my chair right now the Gamecocks look at least as good as Montana State.Bison have the ball 6 min in the half.

Good news on the SJSU game. USC was unable to cover winning 42-26.

They go for it on fourth at the Bison 12. What a mistake. Coach Bohl would have taken the points. Bison driving late in the first half leading 10-7.

Bison have 233 yds, 160 in the air. Bison jumping on the weak passing D pointed out in the pre game analysis . Keeping the Gamecocks to 46 yds rushing, hats off to the Bison rushing D, they have 82 yds.

Picked 3 rd in the sunbelt How good are the Gamecocks? Illinois State, Montana State. They aren’t much better. . Last season it was 33-16 Bison in the first Illinois state game. It also looked a lot like the FCS championship game against them.
