Don’t know if I’ll lose interest in FCS like I did D2?

I think the Bunnies are favored in the MVFC. This is the last FCS ranking I have from Jan 6, 2026. There may have been some material NDSU roster changes since then.

There are some good football teams on the list that could step right into the G6.

FCS fans in the Dakotas are having an existential crisis. Und2 fans are particularly disturbed. When not proclaiming how great FCS is now and what a mistake The Flagship, NDSU made to move into the dregs of the FBS they are busy redesigning the FBS to make a spot for themselves. Here is the latest from FCS und2 football fans wanting to be just like NDSU

Forming a new Division for Conference USA seems like the move. For FB you play your division (8 games) and have a title game with the winner of each division. Even for Olympic sports, is travel that much more of a concern? Home and Home in your division, then one game against the other division. This is a win for everyone.

Surprised this morning to see fanduel posting the FCS games. Und2 is -27.5 vs Long Island. There looks to be some tight games in the making. The MVFC OOC games promise to be one-sided affairs.

I enjoyed FCS football. I believe the division will grow in strength and stature. Continued listing of the games on the betting boards is going to help bring that about. The playoffs, if the high level of play continues, will gather more attention. The Ivy is really going to spice things up.

Not going to lie, part of me will miss being the big dog on the yard.

Lots of us probably feel that way. This helps keep things in perspective for me.

The Fargo Dome will have a huge crowd, probably a sell-out. If und2 sells-out their crowd will only be 2/3 of NDSU.

Current prices show the Alerus tickets in abundance highest price $69. That’s NDSUs lowest price if you can get a seat from them. secondary market Bison tickets are far more expensive. I take it as a measure against the scale of the two programs FBS vs FCS. The revenue difference on ticket sales alone is huge.

Im starting to think like many others. What used to seem out of reach doesn’t seem so far-fetched. now its all about the CFP. First the MWC title.
