This series goes back to 1931. NCC 1.0. Bison lead the series 31-26 with a ten game winning streak on the line.
Last meeting Bison 42-19.
UNI is no longer a football powerhouse. It’s glorified teachers college and teachers just don’t have the fortitude for the manly grid iron. NDSU knocked the stuffing out of that program. They should man-up or accept the fact they are nothing but a teachers college and a mediocre basketball school that has done well hiring NDSU coaches.
Leaving the cynical view behind.

The Bison, after vanquishing its last national powerhouse challenger and clinching it all may relax a bit. We may see more reserves and a more wide-open game than last weeks defensive battle.

A simple calculation: Bison 400-450 yds/5-7 TDs/35-49 points
A simple calculation: Bison score 35/49 X .30=11~15
Back when it was huge we loved our trips to cedar falls. Tailgating was fun and their fans welcoming. Beautiful campus too. Be nice if they would try again.
Bison roll 41-16 but can’t cover 33.5. Glad we took the pts.
UNI scores a safety, a blocked punt for a score and a nice drive. All things powerful teams do, they just didn’t do enough of it.
This year, Montana may be the best this division has to offer in way of a legitimate challenger. Nobody really expected much out of the panthers. Tennessee Tech fell flat too. The better games would have been Ten Tech vs UNI and NDSU vs U Kentucky.

Total handle wasn’t added but it has to be pushing 15,000. Other than the fun we have had it’s been a break-even proposition. This week Montana State came through for us as did the Bison. Together they were half this weeks revenues.
Stay away from parlays.
The basic vig this week was again 13, -113 seems the go to odds with some variance. Several games saw 2 lines (spread & total):@ -113, 226 out.
Winning one for 213 in,
losing the vig of 13.
They have the money lines almost entirely priced out or closed so there is no tie breaking third line. The over under our old nemesis has saved us. Several upsets have dealt severe blows.
Those guys know their football. It’s been a rough 11 rounds with round 12 coming up
Anybody remember that great game 10 years ago this week? Didn’t think so, it’s ancient history.
Next week the Bison take a leap into pure, none scholarship competition vs an old foe St Thomas of Mn. They play for he love of the game and the old Alma mater. This will truly be a step back in time picking up where they left off. Hope the Herd can muster up the old college try.
