A Big Game for the Yotes. Odds makers may have it wrong

We have run the sheet and show: USD 29 ISU 30

The Cyclones will have trouble winning this one. Covering the spread will be an afterthought. Taking the Yotes and 15.5 turns the mythical final score to USD 44.5 ISU 30. That seems pretty good for a team that gives NDSU trouble.

The O/U of 46.5 is probably low

Money Line has a nice return on the upset

USD is coming in with a talented team and a new head Coach with new staff members.

Based on last season they stack up power wise like this

Can they replace what they lost? I haven’t done the research. Going into 2025 they are one of the nation’s premier FCS teams. It should be a great game. Ames is a great spot for a game.
The NCC is dead. Long live The NCC.

I'll take +15.5 assuming they don't drop off from last year. Talented team.

Upset hopes are dimming for this one

I’ve done the research now
  • Their QB and a top running back return
  • They lost one of 2 thousand yard backs.
  • They lost all top receivers
  • I didn’t see many, if any, of their top tacklers on the roster
The NCC is dead. Long live The NCC.
