Fake news? Lakes certainly was expressing disappointment and maybe a little frustration in the recruiting effort so far, but really, not as much disappointment as you seem to be feeling because Lakes may have been wrong.

May have been wrong?? His post from 5 weeks ago said he was told by coaches there was no scholarship or NIL money left for recruits. So how was there suddenly money for top Minnesota recruits? He'll have some bullshit spin explanation. In short the fact that he has this inside info from coaches is bullshit. Also, I am not running down the recruits in any way.

I think you are running down the process a little bit. It’s slower and there is a lot of speculation. In fact the coaches may have been “wrong” so-to-speak. Deception my friend is critical sometimes.
