Here’s his bio.

Joe Beschorner is NDSU's new quarterbacks coach. He came to NDSU in January 2021 and spent his first four seasons as running backs coach before leading the tight ends and fullbacks during the 2024 season. Beschorner previously coached quarterbacks during his 13 years as offensive coordinator at Simpson College and Minnesota State University Mankato.

We used to be a running back factory now we are a QB factory. Was Coach Hedberg just that good or did the running game slip a little over the past few years too?

It’s probably more an indicator of budget size than anything. If NDSU ever wants to make the FBS transition they will need much bigger coaching budgets. Is it another sign NDSU is scaled perfectly for FCS?
