What About The MVFC/Summit?

No doubt NDSU is now in the FCS. It’s a good place. It could be better. The FCS has a lot of good programs starting to rise to the level of play Fargo is used to. The MVFC/Summit complex needs to encourage this. One way is to add new, ambitious move-ups that have demonstrated they are capable of maintaining top notch programs over time. St Thomas was a step in that direction.

If I have this right

Current Members MVFC/Summit. They could be a division in the new MVFC/Summit

SDSU
USD
UND
Add as full members bringing core members to 6
Mankato State
Ferris State

MVFC only. Conference is now 11. this could’ve be a separate MVFC division
UNI
ILLState
INDState
MURRY STATE
Youngstown State

Summit only with 11 members including the core. This could be a separate Summit division

Kansas City

Can you imagine how terrible that would have been? It still might happen though, it’s a long shot. More likely NDSU goes all sports MWC.
