Hopefully that particular time will never arrive. W Virginia @ #82 by Sagarin,, would be a big step down from #43 Florida State. Still, WV would be one of the best teams on the suggested 2027 dog of a schedule.

That schedule is no better than the one NDSU has now. It is even weaker. The price of FBS for that dog of a schedule would be a real bad decision.

Any offer from the MWC better be very good indeed. Boise State languished in the MWC for years, always ignored, never in the big games, they aren’t even very good and neither is the MWC. Why would ndsu want to move again?

The MWC is hot garbage and won’t get much consideration in a playoff designed to fund and promote the 20 million dollar payroll programs . Boise states experience should be warning enough

NDSU Must get top offer, Would 10-15 million per year be enough? Yes. To get up there with Wyomings football budget. No to participate in the 20 million dollar payroll CFP.

There’s two g5 teams that could make the playoff this year. Are you saying the American and sun belt are vastly superior to the MWC?

Hi Kevin. I’m not sure the G5 schools are guaranteed a spot. Are they?

The American West is better. The sun belt no. The new MWC isn’t any good but worth joining if there is a guaranteed P5 play off spot and of course the money is right.
