Trade is over. Calls are sold and we hope it closes. If not we will try again. The calls are out 14 days. The call premiums in 14 days return more than the dividend taking 90 days. That’s why I do it. I value cash on cash far more than unrealized gains.
Maverick said all tax payers should own defense stocks. It’s the only way we can profit from the corruption and recover at least some of our stolen money.
This one caught me by surprise. Lockheed was already down 30-40%, the secret space plane (some say anti-gravity or Time Machine) has resulted in billions being lost, 52 week lows and near historic correction levels. We did a covered call hoping on news of in line earnings it would expire worthless. The LMT calls/puts have been selling at rates in excess of the stocks dividend return in far less than 90 days.
Earnings were deflated. the down gap was immediate and severe. Call became worthless anyway and we bought it back for pennies on the dollar. Now we are down about 40 points with some cash in pocket.
Things have since gone our way with this corrupted, behemoth space faring war machine. we may be able to trade out and meet our goals.

Generally speaking
Based on my own observations where I trade, call side premiums are thin, The put side juicy. This could be signaling a downturn. The market maker wants to sell not buy. Combine this with the huge gold/silver rally and some say the instability of the country is being reflected in the markets. I think, for now, it’s the deflated dollar being reflected. Who wants to sell you gold for these joe biden deflated dollars? I won’t even sell my silver.
Bonds, at least the short term gov bonds where I trade, have been stable for several years in the 4-5% range, while the much feared inversion has to some magnitude more-or less persisted. all bark no bite?
When all three line up I’ll be fearful, right now just concerned. Maverick says always be selling, take profits, take profits and take profits. It’s seems like sound advice.
