First Friday, Thursday night before the big game. Lots of folks at The Tip Top, best burgers around and stubby Coors. Let’s get the boys together, I know they are ready to go so let ‘em loose
From The village studios in Los Angeles, Joe Walsh and the gang featuring Ringo Star on drums
Funk 49 like it’s never been played before

John Ondrasik (real name Vladimir John Ondrasik III) played yesterday in a 9 11 tribute. Don't really like his music style, except "100 Years". This is a video that hits you like a sledgehammer, the reality of how fast our lives go by. Just a few short years ago I would tear up watching it thinking about my parents, and now I tear up watching it wondering how the hell my own life has slipped by so fast?

Glad it’s game day my friend! A God bless the casualties and the heroes that helped them on 9/11.
Go Bison!!!

Hey it’s time for Bison Overtime. The boys from the NDSU Bookstore take a close look at the impressive Bison win over Air Force

The OT boys poke fun at the low effort of some of the MWC schools. Just as pointed out here before the move a lot of MWC schools play at an FCS level.
PS. the video is gone, sorry. Don’t know what happened. They were good.

Time for another Bison Overtime Show.
It’s a hour. First they cover NDSU. 11% chance of making CFP. Not impressed with the MWC. Sac State = high school.
Good coverage of the game and weekly FBS action including their 3 versions of the top 25 & CFP lineup. NDSU doesn’t make either list.
They also have an interesting section about possible FBS home games. Small stadium presents a challenge. One possible favorite of theirs was Kansas State.

Back to some music for you rockers out there!
40 years ago yesterday, the much anticipated Boston album Third Stage dropped. The sticky sweet "Amanda" became the signature song of that album, but don't be fooled, it contained plenty of Boston's guitar driven rock as well.
Sit back and enjoy!

Wow, thanks for that user1. Never got into Boston but everybody knows and likes them, including me. While listening I looked the band up. That guitar work is Tom Scholz, the only remaining original member.
They aren’t on tour and haven’t toured for a number of years. They are still together but currently dormant. They have seen a lot of turmoil but have consistently produced familiar hit music with big tours. Future uncertain they have produced a great catalog of music.
They were touring the years I was producing concerts. I see some names they toured with have been through Fargo. I believe Boston has come through too but as the headliner with a big production. Could be wrong either way wish I had seen them.

We saw them at the Fargodome in '95. It was most certainly a check off of the bucket list.
