I watched them today and was proud of Mercyhurst. The Jacks weren’t able to cover until the 4th qtr. I think the Bison covered in the second qtr. We won’t have a problem.
Montana State is 57-3 late in the fourth. The future MWC teams are pulling away from the pack.

Re: Week #5: USD @ BISON*
The Yotes managed 298 yds, almost double the 158 average given up by the Bison. With 300 yds the Yotes normally score around 20-25. The Bison with 547 yds normally get about 48 points. NDSU is consistently outperforming its statistical profile while keeping opponents from achieving theirs. This is a sign of an improving team. SDSU has done the same.
To a lesser degree MSU, ignoring the great game Mercyhurst had against them, is in the same boat demolishing E Washington 57-3.
Montana appears to be the weakest of the Big 4 getting by Idaho 41-30.
Tarleton, also a MWC hopeful was idle but at 5-0, with an OT win over Army, may also be made of sterner stuff than the rest of the FCS.
I watched a bit of the Lehigh game. They might be able to make an interesting afternoon of it but The Bison would probably roll, just like they probably will against most of the FCS.
At this point in the season the Big 4 plus Tarleton are the class of the division.
Our system, although down $385, still has a lot of dry powder from last season.
The GAM produces 3 relevant scores based on expected performance of the offense and defense, At the extremes 48-6 and Bison 28-21 for USD. We will be weighting the extremes more heavily in the future.
Anybody can pick the winner. Beating Vegas is the prize. So far we have taken a couple head shots from those boys but hopefully we are just in the rope-a-dope phase of this seasons battle, bobbin and weaving clearing our head and looking forward to next week.

Re: Week #5: USD @ BISON*
The dead internet. I look at those 10,000 views and have to laugh. That’s a lot of bots. 4 real people and me! Bots or not it’s fun to put the systems prognostics up. I go back to the D2 days and Madame ?, In the game program. She stirred the tea leaves and read the signs. When NDSU moved up she was no longer there.
The systems has always done, better than 50/50, or guessing. Right now it’s not. We have made 7 picks, won 2 deploying $785 and recovering $440.
This weekend The GAM predicted NDSU -16; OU 50; ML NDSU; Mythical score 33-17
Draft Kings was NDSU -24.5. The GAM predicted The Bison couldn’t cover. We played and lost
Draft Kings OU was 51.5, GAM predicted 50. Had we taken the under as predicted it was a win
We agreed on the money line for another win. That’s 2 out of 3
For SDSU the GAM showed SDSU -8, OU 46; Mythical score SDSU 27-19.
Draft Kings had it SDSU -32.5. The GAM said they couldn’t cover and we lost.
Draft Kings had OU -57.5. The GAM said under at 46. Had we played we would have won and depending on the odds broken even with a 1 and 1 There was no money line.
Having followed the instructions it was a winning weekend.
Operator error!
