Sycamores are playing some inspired football and the Jacks are on their heels. Still 17-6 Jack drive stalling 9 min left.

Sanity returns! Jacks hit on a nice pass and catch. TD

Still some time, 2 min, but the Jacks will go down 24-12.

Gotta love those Sycamores. What a game they played. It was inspired upset minded football. Same with USD. What a great game that was

Tarleton and UC Davis are in barn burners too.

Lots of parity in the FCS today.

NDSU 35-23 end of Third. YSY looking strong and driving.

Bison up 12, could still cover 13, 29.5 is not looking good.

We are looking at 35-30, NDSU to get the KO. It’s a great game and a fabulous weekend of FCS ball.

Bison in Victory Formation!

Great game. Two really good football teams playing their best. Everything happened.

This week was an equalizer leaving us with $6 earned this season.

EMOTION: over ruled the GAM on the Bison spread, they didn’t even cover 13. I bragged 29.5. Pride before the fall.

Pavlovian dilemma: Didn’t override the GAM on the faint but persistent signs of the USD upset.

AGS: it was any given Saturday in college ball.

A clear head and rational thinking overcome emotion. If the 2 are struggling hang back. I did not do that.

Confidence in the GAM helps with the dilemma.

Nothing helps with the fact it’s a game played by humans and in the end largely unpredictable.

Next week kitty money from previous seasons will be on the line again. Living high on the hog last week in Sioux Falls helped distract from the discipline needed.

Beautiful city. Downtown is exquisite. Some of it top-of-the-line. They can entertain with expensive food, clothing and hotels but one common thread: It’s full of bright, ambitious friendly young people and without exception very fine folks. Our future is secure with people like that.
